The Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government Area, Hon. Olusegun Adeniran Onilude has extended heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Tinubu on the affirmation of his victory in the February 25, 2023, presidential election by Nigeria’s Supreme Court.

In a statement, Hon. Onilude said the affirmation of President Tinubu’s victory by the nation’s highest court reflects the trust and belief that Nigerians have placed in his vision for our great nation.

In the spirit of unity and democratic values, Hon. Onilude also extended his appreciation to the petitioners, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), for their active participation in the electoral process.

He said that their dedication to the democratic process exemplifies the strength of our nation’s democracy.

Furthermore, Hon. Onilude called upon all stakeholders to shun animosity and work together towards a brighter future for Nigeria.

He encouraged both Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to set their sights on the 2027 presidential election, keeping the collective interest of the nation at the forefront of their endeavours.

Hon. Onilude also urged fellow Nigerians to rally behind President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, a blueprint for national development and progress.

He said that by embracing this agenda, “we can collectively work towards overcoming challenges and achieving milestones that will benefit every citizen”.
