The All Progressives Congress (APC), Badagry Federation, has commenced reconciliation process to strengthen party unity, reinforce internal cohesion and consolidate its structures ahead of the 2027 General Elections. The meeting brought together party leaders, elected and appointed public office holders, candidates and stakeholders from across the Federation.
In a symbolic demonstration of humility and party discipline, the party’s candidates, Hon. Onilude Olusegun Adeniran (House of Representatives), Hon. Gbenu Hennugbe Joseph (Badagry Constituency I), and Hon. Olatunde Oladunjoye (Badagry Constituency II) prostrated before the party leadership demonstrating their commitment to reconciliation and the collective interest of the APC.
Addressing the gathering, APC Apex Leaders Hon. Hontonyon Joseph Bamgbose, Chief Olatunde Joseph, and Chief Moses Zannu Ogunbiyi declared that all grievances had been resolved, emphasizing that the APC in Badagry Federation remains one united family and urging members to work together for continued electoral success.
In their separate remarks, the Executive Chairmen of Badagry Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Hunpe; Olorunda LCDA, Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon; and Badagry West LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Rauf Yemaren, reaffirmed their commitment to grassroots mobilization and announced a target of not fewer than 100,000 votes for the APC presidential ticket of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr. Obafemi Hamzat in the 2027 General Elections.
Also speaking, the Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende and TESCOM Commissioner, Alhaja Abimbola Idowu, assured the party leadership of the unwavering support of the youths and women, describing them as the backbone of the APC’s grassroots strength.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by party leaders and stakeholders to sustain reconciliation, deepen grassroots mobilization, and further strengthen the APC’s structures ahead of the 2027 General Elections. The leadership expressed confidence that the renewed unity would translate into another resounding electoral victory for the party.
