The Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Hunpe, fMHR, has congratulated the Lagos State President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Sunday Sewanu Ogunfowora and his executive members following their emergence at the unionโ€™s 12th Quadrennial State Delegates Conference held at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Badagry.
Hunpe attends 12th NULGE conference
The conference brought together delegates from the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas across Lagos State alongside other stakeholders to deliberate on the affairs and future of the union, while marking the commencement of a new leadership era for NULGE in the state.
Hunpe congratulated Comrade Ogunfowora and his executives on their successful emergence, charging them to uphold peace, unity and progress within the union and make the interests and welfare of local government employees a priority throughout their tenure.
The Chairman expressed confidence that the new leadershipโ€™s experience, dedication and commitment would contribute meaningfully to the growth of NULGE, strengthen collaboration with local government administrations and advance the development of the local government system in Lagos State.
He wished the President and his executive members a successful tenure, urging them to work collectively towards greater achievements, stronger partnerships and improved welfare for members of the union.
