The Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Hunpe, fMHR has charged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Badagry Local Government to close ranks, strengthen unity and work collectively for the success of the party ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Hunpe gave the charge at the APC Badagry LGA meeting, where he commended party stalwarts and members for the impressive turnout and urged them to sustain the spirit of togetherness, noting that peace and unity remained essential to the partyβs continued progress.
The Chairman also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the bold reforms undertaken by his administration, describing them as necessary steps towards repositioning the country and laying the foundation for sustainable development.
Speaking on the forthcoming elections, Hunpe said party members have a responsibility to reciprocate the support that has culminated in the emergence of Hon. Damilola Sonayon James as the Deputy Governor, urging them to work wholeheartedly to deliver a resounding victory for the APC.
He further used the occasion to highlight the strides recorded by his administration in infrastructure, policy and programmes, noting that the initiatives are geared towards improving the lives of residents and advancing Badagry in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.
Hunpe concluded by calling on all party members to put aside differences, embrace one another and work together in the collective interest of the party and the people of Badagry.

Gafar Meyon; Apex leaders led by High Chief Moses Zannu Ogunbiyi and members from the 10 wards across Badagry Local Government.
