The wife of the Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Chief Mrs. Elizabeth Oluwatoyin Hunpe, has been appointed as the Lagos State Women Director of the President Bola Ahmed TinubuβDr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Independent Campaign Group (PBAT-HAMZAT ICG).
The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated June 9, 2026, jointly signed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi and the National Secretary, Prince Olushola Olusi.
The group stated that the appointment followed extensive consultations and was based on Chief Mrs. Hunpe’s proven leadership capacity, grassroots mobilisation strength, broad acceptability and commitment to progressive politics.
In her new role, she will coordinate women’s mobilisation activities across Lagos State’s 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), working closely with stakeholders to strengthen support for the APC and advance the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Reacting to the appointment, Chief Mrs. Hunpe thanked the group’s leadership for the confidence reposed in her and pledged to mobilise women across Lagos State in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda and the APC.
